Kappelhöhe (Ostallgäu)

The Kappelhöhe is (together with the Weichberg) an approx. 2 kilometer long ridge in the Ostallgäu . It is located in the Swabian community of Rettenbach am Auerberg on the border with the Upper Bavarian community of Burggen, 5 km as the crow flies from the better-known Auerberg and rises up to 200 meters above the surrounding area. At the highest point (967 m above sea level) there is a television radio tower and on the southern slope the hamlet of Kienberg with its stately chapel.
