Efthimios Karamitsos

Efthimios Karamitsos ( Greek Ευθύμιος Καραμήτσος Efthymios Karamitsos ; born August 1, 1956 in Sykea , Greece ) is a German-Greek karate trainer (8th Dan) and author of several sports books.

Life

In 1975 he began to study medicine in Italy, at the same time he trained with Perlati and Shirai Hiroshi karate. In Germany he studied sports science in Frankfurt am Main and continued to train karate under Miura and Hideo Ochi . His interest in competitions was very strong and brought him a lot of success. The greatest titles were won in the Kata domain . After completing his studies and a successful competitive career, he teaches in his dōjō and gives regular international courses. Since 1992 he has been the national coach for the kata area.
