Karen Messenger is a Canadian biathlete .

Karen Messenger starts for the Rocky Mountain Racers . She contested her first race in the Biathlon NorAm Cup in the 2009/10 season and was 27th overall. It went better the following season . The first and third competition stations of the season were in Canmore , where Messenger was used. In the first race of the season, a sprint, she finished third behind Betsy Mawdsley and Kathryn Stone , and she won the pursuit race based on it. It was her first win in the highest continental racing series. At the second race weekend she finished second in the sprint behind Cynthia Clark and third in the pursuit behind Clark and Mawdsley.
