Karen Stemmle
Karen Stemmle (born January 27, 1964 in Aurora , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ski racer.
In the 1983/1984 season, Brian Stemmle's two years older sister achieved her best World Cup results in the downhill runs from Verbier (SUI) in fourth and in the second downhill from Mont Sainte-Anne (CAN) in second. At the end of the season, this resulted in a 13th place in the Downhill World Cup. In the 1984/1985 season she achieved three top 10 results in the downhill.
However, there were no similar top results subsequently. After she was unable to qualify for the Olympic Games in Calgary in the 1987/1988 season , she prematurely announced her resignation.
