Kari Eisenhut (2004)

Kari Eisenhut (born February 22, 1972 in Switzerland ) is a Swiss paraglider pilot .

After winning the Cross Country Cup in 1996 , he won the Paragliding World Cup in 1999 . In 2000 he became European champion . In 2004 he won the category '2-3' at the Paragliding Grand Prix .

After his European championship, he left the competition circus as an active player and founded his own company Chill Out Paragliding AG in which he passed on his knowledge in the form of training camps. In addition, he still works as a test pilot and head of the competition team for the Thun- based paraglider manufacturer Advance .

Kari Eisenhut was also involved in the development of the CAPA, the first soft kite (kite for kitesurfing ) from the manufacturer Duotone, which went on sale in 2020 .

Eisenhut has a son and a daughter.
