Karin Detert-Weber

Karin Detert-Weber (born June 9, 1957 in Osnabrück ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Detert-Weber first attended the elementary school in Schledehausen in the district of Osnabrück and later switched to the Agnes-Miegel-Realschule and the St. Angela-Gymnasium, also in Osnabrück. She was employed in the city administration, most recently as section head in the Office for Public Order.

She is a member of the ÖTV trade union and has been active in the women's movement since 1980. Since 1986 I have been a party member of the SPD. She was elected chairman of the local association Neustadt-Schölerberg Nahne and also of the subdistrict of the working group of social democratic women in Osnabrück-Stadt.

Detert-Weber was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1990 to June 20, 1994 in the twelfth electoral term .
