Karin Kromnik
Karin Kromnik (born August 8, 1957 ) is a German table tennis player . She was GDR champion five times.
Career
Kromnik played for Lok Leipzig Mitte in the 1970s. With its women's team, she won the GDR championship in the 1976/77 season. In 1980 she moved to Chemie Schönebeck , where she had already played once in 1976.
At the GDR championships she won four titles, namely 1980 and 1981 in singles and 1979 (with Gabriele Geißler ) and 1980 (with Petra Schmidt ) in doubles. She also made it into the final six times:
- 1977 in single
- 1979 in single
- 1981 in doubles with Petra Schmidt and in mixed with Bernhard Thiel
- 1982 in doubles with Conny Sauermann
- 1983 in doubles with Ines Berbig
