Karin Reiche

Karin Reiche is a former German basketball player .

career

Reiche was a junior national player of the German Democratic Republic and also played three A internationals for the GDR. At club level, she played with the HSG Humboldt Uni Berlin, first in the GDR upper league, and later in the all-German Bundesliga. From 1993 she was also a Bundesliga player for Wemex Berlin, the successor to HSG Humboldt. In 1995 she became German runner-up with Wemex. The development player was later a member of the City Basket Berlin squad, also in the top German division, the 1999/2000 season was her last in the Bundesliga.

She worked as a trainer in the youth division of Alba Berlin .
