Karin Stevens

Karin Christiaan Ida Catharina Stevens (born June 11, 1989 in Maastricht ) is a Dutch soccer player . Stevens, who can be used in attack and attacking midfield, plays for the Willem II Tilburg club and the Dutch national team .

Career

Stevens began her career at SC Jekerdal . In 2007 she moved to Willem II Tilburg , who played for the 2007 newly founded Dutch professional league for women. There she was the top scorer in the honor division in the first year with 20 goals . In January 2008 she was voted the 2007 player of the year in the Netherlands by a large majority and relegated Nangila van Eyck and Sylvia Smit to the other places.

National team

On August 31, 2006 Stevens made his debut in a game against England in the Dutch national team. She has scored 15 goals in 30 international matches since then.
