Karl-Friedrich Tropf

Karl-Friedrich Tropf (born November 17, 1939 in Tauberbischofsheim ) is a German lawyer . From 1989 to 2004 he was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

After completing his legal training, Tropf joined the judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1967 and initially worked at the Ettlingen district court and the Karlsruhe district court . From 1969 to 1971, Drip was seconded to the Federal Ministry of Justice, then until 1974 as a research assistant to the Federal Constitutional Court.

After this secondment, Tropf first became a notary in the Pforzheim notary's office and from 1976 a judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court .

In 1989, Tropf was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice. Within the Federal Court of Justice, Tropf has been a member of the 5th Civil Senate since his election, and since 2000 also as its deputy chairman. In addition, he was a member of the Senate for Notary Matters since 1991.

On November 30, 2004, Tropf retired.
