Karl-Heinrich Mihr
Karl-Heinrich Mihr (* 22. July 1935 in Gudensberg ) is a German politician of the SPD .
Life
Karl-Heinz Mihr (nickname) worked at the Volkswagen factory in Kassel from January 7, 1961 to September 30, 1994 . After the 1972 works council elections at Volkswagen in Kassel - Baunatal , he was elected chairman of the works council and has been a member of the general and group works council at Volkswagen since the election . From November 1972 to July 1993 Mihr was a member of the VW supervisory board . From 1989 he became a member of the European Group Works Council Volkswagen until he left the company .
politics
He was part of the state executive committee of the Hessian SPD . He was also a member of the European Parliament (as a member of the SPD) . Even after his time in the European Parliament, he was active in the bodies of the SPD in the Schwalm-Eder district .
Mihr was a member of the European Parliament from January 1980 to July 1994 and in the economic , monetary and industrial policy , transport and foreign trade committees .
