Karl-Heinz Bührer (born October 20, 1959 in Herbolzheim ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Bührer began with club football at SV Ottoschwanden. He later moved to Freiburg FC , where his professional career began. In the 2nd Bundesliga South, he scored 20 times in 56 games for Freiburg from 1977 to 1979. From 1979 he played 125 second division games (27 goals) until 1983 and 182 Bundesliga games (42 goals) from 1983 to 1990 for SV Waldhof Mannheim . His greatest successes with the Waldhöfern were his promotion to the Bundesliga in 1983 and sixth place in the Bundesliga in 1985.

From 1990 to 1992 he played for 1. FC Pforzheim in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . In the first year you became a master; the promotion could not be achieved in the subsequent promotion games. From 1992 he still played for FV Weinheim 09 , the amateurs of SV Waldhof and ASV Feudenheim, where he later also worked as a coach.

Karl-Heinz Bührer was appointed to youth national teams 21 times and was involved in 18 games for the German U18 national team.

Today Bührer runs an insurance agency. He also trains youth players at the Rhein-Neckar football school founded by Hans-Jürgen Boysen .
