Karl-Heinz Ernst

Karl-Heinz Ernst (born January 18, 1942 in Fritzlar ) is a former German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from secondary school in 1959, Ernst trained at the Fritzlar district administration. Most recently, he worked in the senior service at the regional president of Kassel as an official in personnel administration.

politics

Since 1963 Ernst was a member of the SPD and there deputy chairman of the Schwalm-Eder sub-district.

From 1969 he was a city councilor in Fritzlar and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there.

From December 1, 1970 to April 4, 1999 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. From 1977 to 1985 he was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group and from February 21, 1984 to February 17, 1987, he was vice-president of the state parliament.

In 1974 he was a member of the 6th and 1984 a member of the 8th Federal Assembly .
