Karl-Heinz Korte (born April 1, 1948 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The defender Karl-Heinz Korte began his career at DJK Gütersloh and rose to the Regionalliga West with the team in 1969 . Two years later he moved to SpVgg Erkenschwick and in 1974 he qualified with his team for the newly created 2nd Bundesliga . There he made his debut on August 10, 1974 in the 2-1 victory of the Erkenschwicker against Schwarz-Weiß Essen . Two years later, Korte got down with the Erkenschwickern and, after missing promotion, moved to the amateur club TuS Frömern in the summer of 1977 . In the summer of 1979, Korte moved to the second division SC Herford , before he let his career end from 1980 with Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid . Overall, Korte completed 92 second division games and scored three goals, including 61 games for Erkenschwick and 31 games and the three goals at Herford. There are also 144 regional league games in which Korte scored once.
