Karl-Otto Hartjen

Karl-Otto Hartjen (born August 14, 1920 in Bremen , † November 16, 1972 in Bremen) was a Bremen politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Hartjen learned the trade of a machine fitter and has been working in the profession since 1938. He served as a soldier in World War II and since 1940 in the Waffen SS . After the war he worked as a police officer in Bremen from 1946 to 1966. From 1953 to 1966 he was a member of the staff council of the Bremen police . From 1966 to 1972 (†) he was managing director of the Bremer Parking Company.

Hartjen was a member of the SPD.

From 1959 to 1972 (†) he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for 13 years and was active in various deputations and committees of the citizenship.
