Karl Bichler

Karl Bichler (born January 27, 1873 in Pöggstall , † May 4, 1931 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and pastor. From 1921 to 1931 Bichler was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament and in 1923 a member of the National Council (Austria) .

Bichler attended high school in Seitenstetten and then studied at the St. Pölten Theological University . He was ordained a priest in 1895 and from 1902 worked as a pastor in Großpertholz . He was also a board member of the agricultural cooperative von Weitra , a member of the district school council of Gmünd and district welfare council. Bichler represented the Christian Social Party between May 11, 1921 and May 3, 1931 in the Lower Austrian Landtag ( 1st and 2nd legislative period ) and was also a member of the National Council from July 6, 1923 to November 20, 1923 ( 1st legislative period ) .
