Karl Georg Schuster

Karl Georg Schuster (born October 24, 1771 in Elbingerode ; † January 13, 1849 ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the general diocese of Lüneburg-Celle .

Life

Schuster, a son of the forest inspector Johann Friedrich Schuster, studied theology and was first conventual of the Loccum monastery , 1806 pastor in Rehburg and 1809 superintendent in Lüne . From 1831 to 1849 he was the first pastor at the town church St. Marien in Celle and general superintendent of the general diocese of Lüneburg-Celle.

His son Carl Friedrich Theodor Schuster was general superintendent for Calenberg and Hanover.
