Karl Høgberg (born March 23, 1901 in Stavanger , † January 11, 1981 in Oslo ) was a respected Norwegian painter. After the Second World War he designed a large mural about the economic life of the city for the Oslo City Hall on an order from the Oslo Stock Exchange . In the wake of this commission, political discussions arose, which led to Reidar Aulie being commissioned as a counterpart with a description of the history of the labor movement.
