Karl Henzel

Karl Henzel (born August 1, 1876 in Obbornhofen ; † January 13, 1959 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( SPD Hessen ) and a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Karl Henzel, who was a Protestant denomination, was the son of the road foreman Johann Georg Henzel and his wife Elisabeth nee Leschhorn. He married Margarethe nee Lang. After attending primary school, he first worked as a bricklayer and later, after losing a forearm, as a farmer and innkeeper in Obbornhofen. There he was a member of the local council and then an alderman for eight years. From 1921 to 1924 he was a member of the state parliament.
