Karl Korn (politician)

Karl Korn (born November 17, 1903 in Cologne-Bayenthal ; † March 9, 1974 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and from 1950 to 1958 a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

After elementary school, Korn completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. Before 1933 he was a member of the Center Party , the Christian Union, and belonged to the Windthorstbund . In 1945 he became a member of the CDU and from 1945 to 1950 was a board member of the CDU Cologne . In the 2nd and 3rd electoral periods (July 5, 1950 to July 12, 1958) belonged to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament. He was the directly elected member of the constituency 016 Cologne-Stadt IV. From October 1946 to September 1948 he was a city councilor in Cologne.
