Karl Leutgöb

Karl Leutgöb (born September 16, 1940 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and technical employee at rest. Leutgöb was a short-term member of the Austrian National Council in 1998 .

Karl Leutgöb attended elementary school from 1946 to 1950 and then secondary school until 1954. Between 1954 and 1958 he learned the trade of machine fitter and from 1960 to 1962 he graduated from the foremen's school for mechanical engineering. Leutgöb worked as a locksmith from 1958 to 1970 and then from 1971 to 1981 as a technical employee in the area of ​​purchasing and sales. From 1982 he worked as a technical employee in the field of work technology and quality control.

From 1992 Leutgöb was a member of the municipal council of the city of Waidhofen an der Ybbs and from 1991 district party chairman of the FPÖ Waidhofen an der Ybbs. During the XX. Legislative period for a few days from May 15, 1998 to May 20, 1998 Member of the National Council. After internal disagreements, Leutgöb resigned from the FPÖ and the local council before the local council elections in Waidhofen an der Ybbs in 2002 and thus preceded an expulsion by the state FPÖ. Until 2002, Leutgöb was also the parliamentary group spokesman for the FPÖ Waidhofen. His preference for the local soccer club, the SG Waidhofen an der Ybbs, makes him very popular in the area.
