Karl Linnebach

Karl Linnebach (born February 7, 1879 in Karlsruhe , † 1961 ) was a German military historian , editor and a senior government councilor in the Reichsarchiv .

In 1933 he became editor of the journal Wissen und Wehr . Later he headed the working groups "War Philosophy" and "Defense Economics" of the German Society for Defense Policy and Science (DGWW). He wrote u. a. the introduction to the work of Thomas Carlyle : Frederick the Great (1910).
