Karl Ludwig Deppisch

Karl Ludwig Deppisch (born November 6, 1908 in Würzburg , † 1987 ) was a German businessman.

Career

Deppisch was born as the son of the businessman Ludwig Deppisch. He studied political science and economics at the universities in Munich, Würzburg and Breslau and graduated with a doctorate. rer. pole. from. In 1934 he took over the management of the company JB Deppisch, Eisenwaren am Marktplatz in Würzburg, from his father , which he rebuilt at the old location from 1945 after being destroyed in the war.

From 1949 he was Vice President of the Würzburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and President from 1961 to 1963. He was a member of the Presidium of the German Industry and Trade Conference (DIHT). He was also chairman of the supervisory board of the large purchasing association Nürnberger Bund. He was president of the society "Friends of Main Franconian Art and Society".
