Karl Pfeffer

Karl Pfeffer (born January 11, 1903 in Neubruck , Scheibbs municipality , † September 4, 1975 in St. Pölten ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and director of the Lower Austrian regional health insurance fund . From 1962 to 1970 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

After elementary school, Pfeffer attended the community school and then switched to the vocational school. In 1922 he began to work as a health insurance employee, where he subsequently rose to become director of the Lower Austrian regional health insurance fund. In 1956 he was appointed to the government council. Pfeffer was the parliamentary group leader of the Socialist Insurance Representatives and represented the SPÖ from December 14, 1962 to March 31, 1970 in the National Council.
