Danièle Kaber

Danièle Kaber (born April 20, 1960 ) is a former Luxembourgish long-distance runner .

Life

In 1985 she won over 1500 meters gold at the Games of the Small States of Europe . In 1986 she was eliminated from the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart over 3000 meters in the preliminary run and was twelfth over 10,000 meters . She came second in the Route du Vin .

The following year she retired from the 1987 World Athletics Championships over 10,000 meters in the preliminary round and won the Route du Vin.

In 1988 she qualified fourth at the Hamburg Marathon for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Seoul , where she was seventh. In 1989 she was sixth in the Osaka Women's Marathon and won over 3000 meters gold at the Games of Small States of Europe, in 1990 she was eighth in the Tokyo International Women's Marathon .

At the World Cross Country Championships she came in 1986 in Colombier on place 113 and 1987 in Warsaw on place 74.

In 1985, 1986 and 1988 she was elected Luxembourg Sportswoman of the Year .
