Karl Preuschen

Karl Preuschen (* approx. 1737 ; † July 18, 1809 in Karlsruhe ; Protestant) was a lawyer and chief bailiff who had been in the Baden civil service since 1768 , comparable to a current district administrator .

Karl Preuschen was married to Ernstina Juliana nee Ottmann († after 1809). From this marriage comes the son Karl-Friedrich (born April 4, 1770 in Karlsruhe; † November 18, 1809 ibid), later a councilor and court advocate in Karlsruhe.

Life

From around 1750/55 to 1761 Prussia studied law at the universities of Gießen , Marburg and Göttingen . From around 1755 he was in aristocratic service: z. B. Hofmeister to the Hereditary Count of Leiningen-Westerburg . In 1765 he became secretary to the homage commission and then in 1766 secretary of the court council and marriage court in Karlsruhe. In 1768 he became a real court and government councilor at the court council in Karlsruhe. In March 1778 he became a bailiff with the title of Privy Councilor at the Higher Office in Karlsruhe and at the same time retained his seat and vote in the Court Council, Court Court, Church Council and Marriage Court College. In 1792 he was appointed Privy Councilor, 3rd class, and on February 21, he was appointed Obervogt of the Oberamt Karlsruhe. As a sideline, Preuschen became a commissioner in 1771 when he took over the front and rear counties of Sponheim .
