Karl Röhrle

Karl Röhrle (born March 8, 1889 in Munich , † January 11, 1965 ) was a German trade unionist and politician.

Career

Röhrle attended elementary, commercial and vocational training school and did his apprenticeship as a printing press master, which he finished with the assistant examination. After he was deployed in the First World War , he worked from 1918 to 1923 as head machine foreman in various book printers. In 1923 he moved to Lankes & Schwärzler in Munich, where he worked as an instructor and representative at home and abroad. He was also used in World War II , after which he returned to the previous company. From October 1, 1947, he was the first chairman of the IG Druck und Papier in Bavaria. From June 1949 to December 1953 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
