Karl Reichert (optician)

Karl Reichert (born August 20, 1883 in Vienna ; † December 20, 1953 there ) was an Austrian optician .

Together with his brother Otto, Reichert continued the business of his father Carl Reichert . His fields of work included the improvement of dark field microscopy , the development of the fluorescence microscope , which he introduced in 1911, and metal microscopy, from which metallography developed.
