Karl Rozum

Karl Rozum (born January 1, 1937 in St. Pölten ; † December 2, 1988 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and a private employee. From 1974 to 1988 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Rozum attended elementary and secondary school in Neulengbach and then completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. He then worked as a technical draftsman and served as ÖAAB district chairman between 1964 and 1982 and as ÖAAB main district party chairman from 1982 to 1988. From 1974 he was councilor of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labor . From 1971 to 1988 he was state secretary of the Lower Austrian ÖAAB, and from 1965 he was also active in local politics as the executive councilor of Neulengbach. Rozum represented the ÖVP from July 11, 1974 until his death in the state parliament.
