Karl Sattler (politician, 1881)

Karl Sattler (born October 20, 1881 in Graz ; † June 13, 1945 there ) was an Austrian manufacturer and politician. Sattler was married and a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Sattler was born as the son of August Sattler. His father came from Dresden, was a travel agent for a Saxon rubber factory and founded a factory near Graz. After primary school, Karl Sattler attended secondary school and the Technical University in Graz, where he studied mechanical engineering and graduated in 1903 with the academic degree of Dipl. Ing. Sattler subsequently worked as a manufacturer in Rudersdorf and ran a linen weaving mill. From 1937 he was councilor of the Burgenland Chamber of Commerce and Industry and represented the state of "mining and industry" between November 11, 1934 and March 12, 1938 in the state parliament of Burgenland.
