Karl Schaper (theologian)
Karl Schaper (born February 25, 1910 in Wietze , † February 21, 1965 in Stendal ) was a German Protestant theologian .
Schaper was first pastor in Eilsleben, then consistorial councilor in Magdeburg. In 1954 he took over the pastoral position in Eichstedt (Altmark) . From 1961–1965 he officiated as pastor at Stendal Cathedral . At the same time, Schaper was provost of the Altmark from 1954 until his death . His successor in office was Friedrich Carl Eichenberg .
In August 1962, Propst Schaper was given the power of attorney for the Johanniter Hospital Stendal by Bishop Johannes Jänicke ; at the same time he chaired the board of directors of the Adelberdt Deaconess Mother House.
