Karl Schebesta

Karl Schebesta (born January 18, 1906 , † June 25, 1969 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and businessman. Schebesta was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1962 to 1964 .

After attending compulsory school, Schebesta completed an apprenticeship in car and body construction and entered the postal service in 1925. He was active as a staff representative and was arrested in 1938 for political reasons. From 1944 he had to do military service, where he was taken prisoner by the Americans, from which he did not return until 1946. After the Second World War, Schebesta was from 1947 State Secretary of the Economic Association, where he was awarded the professional title of commercial councilor . Schebesta represented the ÖVP from December 11, 1962 to November 19, 1964 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
