Karl Schmutzler

Karl Schmutzler (* 1932 in Zwickau ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Schmutzler was a master of animal breeding and certified agricultural animal breeding manager. He first did an agricultural apprenticeship and was then an agricultural assistant. From 1952 to 1954 he was economic manager, then from 1959 to 1963 assistant, production manager and operations manager in the Neubrandenburg district . From 1963 to 1990 he was director of VEG Tierzucht Neuenhagen and most recently its managing director.

In 1952, Schmutzler became a member of the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DBD) , which merged with the CDU in 1990. From 1966 to 1978 he was represented in the Neuenhagen municipal council near Berlin , from 1954 to 1956 and from 1990 he was a member of the DBD's district executive. On March 17, 1992, Schmutzler moved in for Klaus-Dieter Arlt in the Brandenburg state parliament . He stayed there until the end of the 1994 parliamentary term.
