Karl Sticher

Karl Sticher (born November 2, 1887 in Ottweiler ; † January 6, 1953 ibid) was a Saarland politician ( KPD ).

Sticher was initially employed as a railroad worker and locksmith. He joined the USPD and was later a member of the KPD. For the latter, he was elected to the second regional council of the Saar region in 1924 . However, he resigned his mandate in 1926; Friedrich Eifler moved up for him . He was also a member of the Ottweiler City Council from 1920 to 1934.

After that he was no longer politically active. In the following years he worked as an innkeeper and went into business for himself as an innkeeper after the Second World War.
