Karl Weiß (politician)
Karl Theodor Weiß (born July 14, 1928 in Pforzheim ; † July 23, 2014 ) was a German SPD politician .
education and profession
Karl Weiß attended the Realgymnasium, where he passed the Abitur. He studied law and worked as a journalist until 1957. From 1957 he worked as an insurance salesman; he was the authorized representative for organization and advertising. White worked as the general manager of a German automobile club.
politics
Karl Weiß was a member of the SPD from 1949. He acted as chairman of the SPD district Cologne-Zollstock and was from 1963 a member of the SPD district executive committee Cologne-Stadt. He became a member of the Trade, Banking and Insurance Union in 1958.
From July 25, 1966 to May 27, 1975, Karl Weiß was a directly elected member of the 6th and 7th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 015 Cologne-City II.
