Karlheinz Blankenbach (born 1955 ) is a German physicist. He teaches as a professor at Pforzheim University in the fields of displays, software, physics and electrical engineering.

Life

Blankenbach studied physics at Ulm University and did his doctorate there. He presented his dissertation in 1988 on the subject of strength and ATP consumption of chemically skinned limulus muscles with calcium-dependent isometric measurements and with rapid repetitive changes in length . He worked in industry and switched to Pforzheim University in 1995. His areas of expertise include displays (technologies, control, measurement technology, ...), software (WINDOWS programming, C; for PC and µC) and electronics (µC, circuits, ...). In 2007 he received the university's research award.
