Karlheinz Muscheler

Karlheinz Muscheler (* 1953 in Radolfzell ) is a German lawyer and professor at the Ruhr University in Bochum .

Life

After studying law , Muscheler received his doctorate in 1983 with Alexander Hollerbach at the University of Freiburg . In 1992 the habilitation followed, also in Freiburg. He was thus awarded the venia legendi for the subjects of German legal history, civil law, canon law and commercial law. Since the winter semester 1993/94, Muscheler has been a full professor at the University of Bochum , where he has held the chair for German legal history, civil law and commercial law ever since.

In addition, Muscheler is the chairman of two associations that are dedicated to researching and promoting foundation law on the one hand and inheritance law on the other.
