Karlheinz Nolte (born February 27, 1949 in Berlin ) is a German teacher and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1968, Karlheinz Nolte studied chemistry, mathematics and computer science for teaching at the Free University of Berlin . After passing the first and second state examinations, he worked as a research assistant at the university from 1979 to 1982. He then worked in school until 1996, most recently as senior teacher. Nolte has been working as a freelance project consultant in the field of youth welfare, school and vocational training since 2001.

politics

Nolte joined the SPD in 1969 and held various party functions. 1984 to 1991 he was chairman of the SPD Rixdorf (Neukölln), 1992 to 2016 chairman of the SPD Johannisthal / Niederschöneweide (Treptow), 2002 to 2005 chairman of the SPD Treptow-Köpenick.

From 1991 to 2016 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives . From 1991 to 2001 he was youth and family policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group, since 1995 a member of the parliamentary group's executive committee, 2001 to 2006 and 2014 to 2016 deputy parliamentary group chairman, 2006 to 2014 chairman of the budget and finance working group of the SPD parliamentary group.

Nolte is chairman of the Berlin Advisory Board for Family Issues (BBfF); Chairman of the European Youth and Welfare Foundation (EFJ); Chairman of the Berlin Board of Trustees of the International Federation (IB).

FC Union Berlin; Board member of the Association for the Promotion of Intercultural Youth Work (Schlesische 27); Board member of the support group for the FEZ-Berlin; Member of the entire advisory board FEZ-Berlin / Landesmusikakademie; Member of the board of trustees of JugendKulturService gGmbH; Member of the Board of Trustees of the Lette Verein Berlin Foundation; Member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Applied Education; Member of the state youth welfare committee.
