Sunset Strip Music Festival
The Sunset Strip Music Festival is an American rock music - festival , which on Sunset Strip , a part of the Sunset Boulevard takes place. At the SSMF 2010 that from 26.-28. August took place for the first time 40 bands took part. The festival's locations include Whiskey a Go Go , the Viper Room , Key Club and the House of Blues, all of which are located on the Sunset Strip. The festival has been held since 2008.
The Sunset Strip Music Festival was designed to promote the musical experience by bringing mostly Los Angeles bands to perform with greats from the global music scene.
In 2010 the festival drew 30,000 spectators. The year before, 10,000 spectators saw the festival. It's comparable to Rock am Ring or Wacken Open Air . Unlike RaR and W: O: A, bands and musicians from different genres play at SSMF.
