Cobra Starship was an American pop-punk band formed by former Midtown band member Gabe Saporta. The band consisted of Gabe Saporta, Ryland Blackinton, Alex Suarez, Nate Novarro and Victoria Asher aka Vicky-T. Their music is a mix of alternative rock and pop-punk with electronic sounds and synthpop .

Cobra Starship was founded in 2005 by former Midtown lead singer Gabe Saporta. The band name comes from the print on the back of his retro jackets. He worked with William Beckett from The Academy Is ... , Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes , Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and Maja Ivarsson from The Sounds on a song for the film Snakes on a Plane . Snakes on a Plane (Bring It!) Appeared on the soundtrack for the film on August 15, 2006 .
By Austria's Next Top Model , the single was Good Girls Go Bad , which was used there as theme music, very well known in Austria. The song, on which actress Leighton Meester can be heard as a guest singer, is on the third album Hot Mess . In 2010 Cobra was Starship with the German bands I Heart Sharks and 'One Night Stand!' on tour in Germany.
Cobra Starship had the greatest commercial success with the song You Make Me Feel .... which made it to number 7 on the American Billboard Hot 100, number 10 on the world charts and number 1 on the New Zealand charts. In Germany the song has so far been unsuccessful.
In November 2015, Cobra Starship officially announced their liquidation.
