Sabrosa Purr is an American rock band from Los Angeles , California, founded in 2004 .
The band plays cross-genre rock and found themselves on numerous top ten lists of well-known radio stations with their first EP, Music from the Violet Room , released on Dangerbirds Records .
In 2007 they successfully completed their first tour outside the USA in Japan.
Their debut album To the Crickets and the Ghosts was extremely well received by critics, and the band goes on tour with well-known acts such as 30 Seconds to Mars , Silversun Pickups and the Cold War Kids .
