Andy Grammer (born December 3, 1983 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American pop musician.

Career

Andy Grammer is the son of Robert Crane, called Red , Grammer, who is a successful interpreter of music for children. Andy grew up in New York City , but returned to California State University in his hometown to study . During his studies he was on the road as a street musician, which resulted in real performances and his own concerts. Finally, he signed a contract with the S-Curve label in the early 2010s and released his debut single Keep Your Head Up in 2011 . This immediately made it into the US singles charts up to number 53 and had a million seller. His debut album named after him was released a little later, but only reached number 105 on the Billboard 200 . He then toured the United States, supporting Natasha Bedingfield and Colbie Caillat , among others .

He took three years until his next publication. With the single Honey, I'm Good , he had a big hit in spring 2015, which reached the top 10 in the USA and was awarded triple platinum . The song was also internationally successful and also entered the charts in the UK and France. The accompanying album Magazines or Novels made it into the Top 20 and went gold, as did the second album single Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah) . The next single Fresh Eyes was released in autumn 2016 . She was particularly successful in Australia and New Zealand, where she made it into the top 10. But it was also able to find a place in numerous European countries, including Germany and Austria for the first time. He is a member of the  Baha'i community.
