Escape the Fate ( English for: "Escape the Fate") is an American rock band from Las Vegas , Nevada . Their music style is often compared to bands like From First to Last or Eighteen Visions .

history

Escape the Fate was founded in 2003 by Ronnie Radke and Max Green. They searched for other band members on MySpace and found Bryan Money and Omar Espinosa (ex-member of the band LoveHateHero ). A close friend, Robert Ortiz, also met shortly afterwards. In September 2005 Escape the Fate took part in a radio competition in which the band My Chemical Romance rated the participants. The winner was allowed to go on tour with them, and the bands Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect should also be present. Escape the Fate won this competition and due to its increasing popularity it was signed to the record label Epitaph Records . In May 2006 her debut EP There’s No Sympathy for the Dead was released .

On September 12, 2006, Ronnie Radke left the band. The band members reported on MySpace that Radke had left the band voluntarily for personal reasons. Nevertheless, the band wanted to continue without him and wished him luck for the future. It became known that Radke had a drug problem and is on rehab.

On September 26, 2006, the band released their first LP , Dying Is Your Latest Fashion . On November 6, 2006 Radke returned to the band.

After guitarist Espinosa announced his departure from the band in November 2007, it was announced in January 2008 that singer Radke had been sentenced to four years probation and a fine of 100,000 US dollars for inciting murder . He is also obliged to take part in a drug withdrawal program. Radke's friend, who committed the murder, took his own life. The new singer was Craig Mabbitt , who moved from the band Blessthefall to Escape the Fate. Radke was sentenced to four years probation in 2008 after witnessing the death of the then 18-year-old Michael Cook and Radke declaring himself guilty on the charge of assault. Shortly after his conviction, he violated his probation and was again remanded in custody.

The band's second LP This War Is Ours has been available since October 21, 2008 .

In April 2009 the band came to Germany, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy and Belgium for the “Give It a Name” festival for the first time. The band also played a headlining show in Europe in December 2009 that took the band to Germany, the Netherlands and France.

On April 27, 2010 Escape the Fate released This War Is Ours as a deluxe edition, including two new songs, an acoustic version of the song Harder Than You Know and a remix by Shawn Crahan ( Slipknot ) called This War Is Mine . There was also video material about their first world tour and about the lives of the band members. On November 2, 2010 the self-titled album Escape the Fate was released with 14 new tracks, including the song The Aftermath (G3) , which is the continuation of The Guillotine and This War Is Ours (The Guillotine II) . On March 5, 2012, bassist and singer Max Green left the band. He was replaced by Motionless in White guitarist TJ Bell.

In an interview, singer Mabbitt and drummer Ortiz announced that Michael Money (the brother of lead guitarist Bryan "Monte" Money) is now officially a rhythm guitarist in the band after years of performing both on stage and I worked with the band in the studio.

On May 10, 2013, the band released their new album Ungrateful , whose lyrics, in contrast to its predecessors, dealt with more serious topics. This was followed by appearances at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park .

On August 18, 2015, the new album Hate Me was announced via Facebook and was released on October 30. A tour of the same name has also been announced for America and Europe with set dates. The band will tour Europe in early 2016. [obsolete] At the same time, in addition to these announcements, the first single Just a Memory was made available for free download on the company's website until August 20, 2015. On Friday September 25th, 2015, the band released another song from the upcoming album called Remember Every Scar . The third single Alive was released as audio on October 19, 2015 and the accompanying video on October 20, 2015.

In 2019 the band will play their tour "This World Is Ours".
