Better Noise Music is an American record label based in New York City .

history

The label was founded in 2006 as Eleven Seven Music by Allen Kovac. In October 2019, the name was changed to Better Noise Music. In addition to its headquarters in New York City, the label has offices in Los Angeles , Nashville , Toronto , London , Berlin and Sydney . Musically, the label focuses on the genres of hard rock , metal and alternative rock . Pop singer Nelly Furtado is an exception .

On the one hand, the label relies on young, aspiring bands. At the same time, the label also accepts larger bands that have since been dropped by major labels such as Papa Roach or Buckcherry . The most successful releases of the label include the album 15 by Buckcherry and the single Zombie by the Bad Wolves . Both went platinum in the US . The US magazine Billboard named Eleven Seven Music as rock label of the year in 2010.
