The August Zschau bodyworks were German wheelwright companies based in Leipzig .

The company was opened by August Zschau in 1875. Between 's First and Second World War only were convertibles of the middle class made. There was only series production; Individual pieces were not created. During this time the company had around 350 employees.

After the Second World War, the company was expropriated and incorporated into the IFA in the GDR as a body parts plant .
