The Karrar (Persian; "fighter, striker", English carrier ) is an Iranian battle tank. The tank is capable of day and night combat and was presented on March 12, 2017. Despite the external resemblance to the T-90 , there was no Russian support.

The main armament of the Karrar consists of a 125 mm smooth- barreled cannon equipped with a smoke evacuator . A remote-controlled weapon station on the tower is equipped with a 12.7 mm machine gun. According to Iranian sources, the Karrar should be equipped with the latest reactive armor on the front of the hull and the turret.
