Karsten Voigt (doctor)

Karsten Voigt (born March 9, 1941 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) is a German neuroradiologist and retired university professor .

He studied medicine at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and became a member of the Corps Palaiomarchia-Masovia in 1960 . In Munich his doctorate he 1966 Dr. med.

In 1973 he completed his habilitation at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . The Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen appointed him head of the Department of Neuroradiology . He was the dean of the medical faculty. He retired on September 28, 2007. The topic of his public farewell lecture was: 30 years of university medicine in Tübingen: Thoughts on the power and reason of medical action
