Ng Ka Ki , known as Charles Ng , ( Chinese  伍家麒 , Pinyin Wǔ Jiāqí , Jyutping Ng 5 Gaa 1 kei 4 * August 1, 1984 in Hong Kong ) is a Hong Kong- Chinese racing driver . He has competed in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) since 2011 .

Career

Ng started his motorsport career by drifting . At the age of 19, Ng moved to the United States to practice the sport . From 2008 he also takes part in touring car races. He made his debut in the Skip Barber Mazda Challenge , which he won in 2009. In 2009 he also competed in the Asian Touring Car Championship for the first time , in which he won the overall standings a year later.

In 2011 Ng switched to the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), where he took part in the three Asian races for Engstler Motorsport in a BMW 320si and a BMW 320 TC. He was 22nd in the drivers' championship. In 2012 Ng competed for Engstler Motorsport for the entire world championship. After the second race weekend, a 15th place is his best result.

Personal

Ng lives in Rowland Heights , California and Hong Kong. In addition to his involvement in motorsport, Ng also runs half marathons.
