The Kartal Stadı is the football stadium of the Turkish sports club Kartalspor . It is located in Kartal , an Asian district of Istanbul .
history
The pure football stadium has a total capacity of 7,195 seats. In addition to the men's team in the second division , the stadium is also the home of the women's football team , which plays in the first Turkish league.
architecture
The Kartal Stadı is unique in its architecture. The grandstands were built right on the edge of the field, thus creating an oppressive atmosphere for the opponent, so Kartalspor was one of the strongest teams at home in his time in the TFF 1. Lig and hard to beat at home. However, there was criticism from TV stations because there were problems with live broadcasts, the camera was unable to capture the entire field of play due to the grandstands that were built very close to the field.
