Kasane ( 累 ) is a manga series by Daruma Matsuura . The His -Drama appeared in Japan from 2013 to 2018 and was translated among others into German.

The girl Kasane is the daughter of a well-known actress. But unlike her mother, she is ugly and is bullied by her classmates for it. But Kasane receives a lipstick from her mother, which she should use when she is desperate. After her mother's death, Kasane remembers it and puts on the lipstick. She learns that everything she kisses with it becomes her own - especially other people's faces. Now she can get rid of her ugliness, gain self-confidence and can show off her talent for acting.

The series first appeared in April 2013 in Evening magazine published by Kodansha in Japan. Since October of the same year, the chapters have also been published in anthologies, 14 of which have appeared in total. These sold over 30,000 times in the first few weeks after publication. The series ended in September 2018.
A German translation of the manga was published by Tokyopop from December 2016 to March 2020 with all 14 volumes. Also earned Editions Ki-oon a French translation out Milky Way Ediciones a Spanish and Taiwan Tohan a Chinese. An English translation was published by Kodansha Comics and an Italian translation by J-Pop.
